Our Montessori Philosophy
Education for Life
Dr. Maria Montessori believed that education should be an aid to life. Her method is based on scientific observation of the human being and has been practiced globally for over a century.
At Community Montessori, we uphold the integrity of this proven method. We view each child as a unique individual with unlimited potential, capable of self-directed learning when provided with a supportive environment.
Key Principles
Respect for the Child: We honor each child's unique personality, rhythm, and developmental path.
The Absorbent Mind: Recognizing the young child's intense ability to learn from their environment effortlessly.
Sensitive Periods: Utilizing windows of opportunity when children are most eager to learn specific skills.
Auto-Education: Providing materials that allow children to discover and correct their own errors.
Freedom within Limits: Allowing choices that foster independence while respecting the community.
What is Montessori?
Montessori is more than a teaching method—it is a way of understanding and supporting how children naturally grow and learn.

CHILD-CENTERED LEARNING
Children take responsibility for their own hands-on learning, classroom environment, and community. This nurtures independence, adaptability, and a lifelong love of learning.

MIXED-AGE COMMUNITIES
Children learn and grow in thoughtfully designed mixed-age groups. This encourages collaboration, leadership, mentorship, and strong social bonds.

FREEDOM WITHIN STRUCTURE
Guided by thoughtfully sequenced Montessori materials, children engage in self-directed learning, choosing meaningful work at their own pace. This nurtures independence, self-discipline, and strong executive functioning skills.

PREPARED ENVIRONMENT
Classrooms are calm, orderly, and filled with natural, purposeful materials. Children learn to care for their surroundings and take pride in their learning space.

PROVEN ACADEMIC SUCCESS
Montessori students often advance academically while also developing strong emotional and social skills. Research shows Montessori helps close learning gaps across diverse backgrounds.

Excellent
Posted on Dajah GreeneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our experience with Future Scholars Montessori has been nothing short of wonderful. My daughter attended for one year, and the growth we witnessed during that time was truly remarkable. She developed strong academic foundations while also building essential social skills that will serve her well for years to come. By the end of the program, she was exceptionally well prepared for kindergarten academically, socially, and emotionally. We are so grateful for the nurturing, structured, and enriching experience Future Scholars Montessori provided. I would highly recommend this school to any family seeking a strong, well balanced early education rooted in respect for the whole child.Posted on KorotoumouTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I live in the neighborhood and my daughter has been attending the daycare for 2 years now. I’m glad that they open early and that they allow the school bus pick up my kid at the daycare. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided by the daycare and what I like the most is that they send kids pictures to parents cell phone every day . I’m glad my daughter gets to play in backyard on the swing, enjoy nap time stories , and practice early pre/ k activities such as coloring , counting, and singing. I’m very glad I found this daycare!Posted on Sk Sabbir HossenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ll never forget the day my child came home and proudly showed me how they had learned to write their name for the first time. The joy on their face said it all. The teachers here truly make learning exciting and meaningful. We’re so thankful for the care and love they put into every child. As a parent, that’s the kind of reassurance you dream of. We’re so grateful to have found this place.Posted on Debbie ThompsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Director is very caring and puts her heart & soul into what she does. If you are looking for a daycare that is giving little ones a diverse, multicultural place to grow without excessive screentime.... this is the one! I love how each child matters! They teach the life skills that are missing in today's rushed pace and share the importance of making a difference in your community.Posted on Mar ATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The staff is so caring, patient, and genuinely invested in the children’s growth and happiness. My child is always excited to go in the morning and comes home talking about new things they’ve learned each day. The environment feels safe, welcoming, and very well-organized you can tell the teachers put a lot of thought into every detail. Communication with parents is excellent, and it’s clear they truly care about every family. We’re so grateful to have found this place!Posted on Bear My Brand, LLCTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very experienced team.
